C’est la reprise après un long moment sans recette, pris par le temps, le boulot et puis un manque de motivation aussi pour passer de la cuisine au blog et on reprend avec la courge.

Une reprise avec un plat tout simple tout en épices et avec un légume de saison, la courge, accompagnée de petits légumes sortis du frigo ou du congélateur, pour un plat qui a toute sa place sur la table du soir.
Avec ce recette je participe au défi “BollyFood” organisé par la cuisine gourmandise des 2B sur le thème des épices et de la couleur.
Pour les épices, curcuma et tandoori viennent apporter à la fois du goût et des couleurs.

Pour revenir à la recette, je ne suis pas spécialement fan de la courge mais mélangée avec un peu de pommes de terre, cuite lentement dans les épices et avec une petite touche d’acidité d’un petit citron vert, c’est juste délicieux.

Poélée de courge et autres petits légumes aux épices

Les ingrédients
500 grammes de courge
1 oignon
2 pommes de terre
1 petit citron vert
1 poignée de petits pois (congelés pour la recette)
1 poivron rouge en dés (congelé pour la recette)
1 cuillère à soupe de curcuma
1 cuillère à soupe de tandoori
1 petite cuillère à café de cumin moulu
Bouillon de légumes

Émincer finement l’oignon
Couper la courge en dés
Couper les pommes de terre en dés
Couper le citron en fines tranches

Dans une poêle faire revenir dans un peu d’huile d’olive l’oignon,le poivron et le citron.
Ajouter la courge et les pommes de terre et faire colorer.
Verser le curcuma, le tandoori, le cumin et bien mélanger.

Verser le bouillon à hauteur
Laisser mijoter doucement pendant une petite vingtaine de minutes.
Si le jus est trop réduit ajouter un peu de bouillon.
En fin de cuisson ajouter les petits pois et laisser finir doucement 10 petites minutes.

    Comme vous, je ne suis pas fan de potirons et autres courges à cause de leur goût sucré (je suis un bec salé) mais comme vous dites que vous avez apprécié la courge avec cette recette, j’ai fait votre recette et j’avoue avoir adoré. Mais le citron vert que j’ai mis dedans a laissé beaucoup d’amertume et ça a gâché un peu le plat : la prochaine fois je ne mettrai que le jus du citron vert. Je crois que l’acidité du citron contrebalance le côté sucré de la courge et comme ça j’arrive à manger la courge. J’ai aussi mis de la patate douce à la place des pommes de terre, en raison de son index glycémique plus faible. Et enfin, pour noyer l’amertume du citron, j’ai d’abord retiré les tranches de citron et j’ai terminé avec du lait de coco ; malgré cela on sentait encore l’amertume à chaque bouchée.
    J’adore ce genre de poêlée vite fait et plein de saveurs.
    J’ai quelques questions : est-ce une recette d’origine indienne ou l’avez-vous inventé ? Combien de temps et sur quel feu (fort, moyen ou doux) faut-il faire revenir oignon+poivron+citron ? Idem pour la courge et les pommes de terre ? Votre plat était-il aussi amer comme le mien à cause du citron qui a cuit dedans ?

  9. C’est une belle recette aux notes orientales. Je suis pas spécialement un grand fan des courges, déjà parce que j’ai toujours eu du mal à bien les cuisiner et leur texture. Mais bon peut-être qu’en suivant votre recette je vais changer d’avis 🙂
